KTVI - myFOXstl.com)  --  As a town, it no longer exists. But for those who lived through its darkest days there is no forgetting times beach. It has been 25 years since dioxin contamination led to a buyout of the town. But what happened to the people who left? In this FOX Files report, Paul Schankman explains Missouri’s toxic legacy and the open questions still raising doubts a quarter of a century later.

"But what happened to the people who left?" - Question from above

Many of the former residents were fairly old which I am sure most are gone, look at our "In Memory Of Page." A lot of them still live close by (Eureka, Pacific, Robertsville, Sullivan, Union). All will always remember the Beach.

Yearly Reunions - Last Saturday of September we have named "Times Beach Day"

We know our past committee members will be present and we hope you will be too.

We are not organizing anything we plan to make this a day of visitation and gathering for all our families and friends.

We will gather in the parking lot next to the playground where we had the last reunion.

Interpretive Display - submit family name

We are planning on having a interpretive display - telling the story of Times Beach and hopefully listing former resident names. The design has not yet been developed. We have discussed putting it in the first parking lot in the park where it could also be seen from the highway.

We do ask that if you want your family remembered to please contact one of our committee members to have the name added to our list or use the link above to submit you family name.

Donations are being accepted at the Route 66 State Park, an account has been setup for this project. When making a donation please reference it to the "Times Beach Interpretive Display"

Sharon Phillips (Burton)   as committee treasure is also accepting donations in which she forwards to the park.

This website is being maintained as a way of gathering information to help us preserve some of Times Beach history, and to have a place of contact for all former residents.

Please help us to build this site by sending us your family updates so others know how you are, what you are doing and where you are at. "Everybody is being thought of by somebody."
